Child injured after car crashes into beachgoers

DAYTONA BEACH, FL– At least one person was injured after a car crashed through a tollbooth and onto a crowded beach on Sunday.
The incident occurred at International Speedway Boulevard just before 5 p.m.
Officials say a driver having some sort of medical episode, lost control of their vehicle and struck a toll booth. The booth reportedly exploded as the
vehicle then sped down the beach ramp and onto the beach.
A witness told reports that atleast 15 people ran out of way of the vehicle before it crashed into a child who was playing in the water.
Authorities say the child was taken to the hospital as a trauma alert but is now in stable condition.
Four people inside the vehicle were also taken to the hospital as a precaution.
