CANAVERAL GROVES, FL– The Brevard County Sheriff’s department is reporting that they found four people dead inside of a home after receiving a call from a child about a shooting.
The incident occurred on March 1 at a residence on Alan Shepard Avenue.
Authorities say the call came in around 1:00 a.m.
When they arrived to the home, they found 63-year-old Glenda Terwilliger, 36-year-old Michael Watson, 35-year-old Constance Terwilliger, and 15-year-old, Kiara Terwilliger dead. Two children were also found at the residence but were unharmed.
An initial investigation found that 36-year-old Domenico Gigante, the ex-boyfriend of Constance and the father of Kiara, was the gunman.
Gigante reportedly went to the home for unknown reasons and opened fire on the adults and teen before returning to his home.
Authorities located Gigante at his home and took him into custody. He is facing four counts of First Degree Premeditated Murder.
Officials are working on reuniting the two children with other relatives.
