(MOSCOW) — A chess robot broke a seven-year-old boy’s finger during a match.
It happened last week at the Moscow Chess Open.
The boy went to make a move when the robot’s mechanical arm grabbed his finger and clamped down snapping the bone.
Adults rushed in to help free the boy’s hand which is now in a cast.
The president of the Moscow Chess Federation said the boy apparently rushed to move before the robot was ready.
The chess robot will likely be reprogramed.
