Captain Kirk literally headed into space, “Beam me up Bezos”

Actor William Shatner is headed for the final frontier, for real.
The Star Trek actor is expected to officially announce on Monday he’s going up on a Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket in October, according to TMZ.

The trip would make the 90-year old the oldest person to head out into space.

The Canada native’s 15-minute flight will occur sometime in October.
The outlet also reported that the mission will be filmed for an upcoming documentary featuring the actor who played Capt. James T. Kirk on the iconic series.
There is still no word on who else will accompany Shatner.
