A 24-year-old man has been arrested after he reportedly broke into a home and got naked in a tub.

The incident occurred in the 300 block of Avenue D in Summerland Key shortly before 12:30 p.m.

The homeowner told police that he and his wife were at a neighbor’s home when they received a security alert on their phone.

They then called authorities and went over to the home themselves to grab a gun.

When authorities arrived, they found the suspect Jeffrey David Hons, naked in the bathtub and surround by the homeowner and their neighbors.

Hons was immediately arrested but refused to speak to police.
