A Broward County Sheriff’s Office helicopter has crashed in a residential neighborhood in Pompano Beach.

The crash was reported just before 9 a.m. near North Dixie Highway and Atlantic Boulevard.
The FAA is reporting three people were aboard the chopper.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Pompano Beach Fire Rescue transported two people to a local hospital while the Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue officials said one person was transported to Broward Health Medical Center.
