Three people, including two Broward Sheriff’s deputies were injured in a hit-and-run, rollover crash over the weekend in Broward County.
49-year-old Allan Gregory Da Costa is now in custody and faces three counts of leaving the scene of a crash involving injury and three counts of leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage.

At approximately 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, Broward Regional Communications received a report of a rollover crash involving a Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy in the area of Northwest 31st Avenue and Northwest 26th Street in Lauderdale Lakes.
According to BSO, the driver of a red GMC pickup truck ran a red light and struck a marked BSO unit with two deputies inside.
A civilian vehicle was also hit and rolled over.
Following the crash, the driver of the red pickup truck fled the scene on foot.
BSO’s Aviation Unit transported one of the deputies to an area hospital.
The other deputy and civilian driver were taken to the hospital by ground.
All three individuals suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
