UPDATED: Officials Identify Bodies Found Floating in Canal at Broward, Palm Beach County line

More information is becoming known about the discovery of two bodies along the Palm Beach-Broward County line over the weekend.

According to The South Florida Sun Sentinel, the victims have been identified as 76-year-old Archer James Adams III, and his wife, 76-year-old Paula Adams.

Officials discovered the bodies on Saturday morning near a boat in the Hillsboro Canal, around the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge.

Susan Neel, who serves as communications director for Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, says the couple’s cause of death remains unknown.

(Boca Raton, FL) — Investigators are investigating the gruesome discovery of two bodies that were found floating in the Hillsboro Canal in Northern Broward County.

Palm Beach and Broward County deputies are assisting Florida Fish and Wildlife officers in the investigation.

FWC is leading the inquiry, according to Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Teri Barbera.

Officials say they found the bodies floating near a boat on Saturday.

There is no word yet on whether foul play is suspected.
