
ST. PETERSBURG, FL–
A brother and a sister have been arrested after they purposely ran down a motorcyclist after taunting him.
The incident occurred on Sept. 17 around 11 a.m. on Central Avenue in the 5100-block.
Authorities say the victim was traveling east on Central Avenue when the brother and sister in a white sedan drove up on the side of the victim.
A woman seated in the passenger side then stuck her head out of the window and began taunting the motorcyclist before the driver of the vehicle intentionally side-swiped the motorcyclist.
The incident caused the motorcyclist to veer into another lane where he was struck head-on by a semi-truck.
The white sedan then fled the area.
Two days after the incident, authorities located and identified the pair in the sedan as Solimar Rosario and Narciso Rosario.
Narciso is charged with second-degree attempted murder.
Solimar is charged with second-degree attempted murder principle.
They are both being held in the Pinellas County Jail with no bond.
The motorcyclist, only described as a 21-year-old man, remains in “extremely critical condition.”
