
(AVENTURA, FLA) — Brightline opens two new South Florida train stations set in Boca Raton and Aventura today.
Dec. 21 marks the first day of scheduled service for Brightline’s Aventura station, located off Biscayne Boulevard, and Boca Raton Station, located at 101 NW 4th St,. close to Mizner Park.
Brightline’s fourth and fifth stations in the expanding rail network will have running trains stopping at the new locations every two hours.
“We’ve been talking about this for years about what a game changer Brightline would be for our community,” Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer told reporters. “We’re going to be reaping the benefit of this day for years. This is a historic moment for Boca Raton.”
The high speed railway has stations in West Palm Beach, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale.
