(BOCA RATON, FL) – The new 36,000-square-foot Brightline station in Boca Raton is getting ready to open this month.

The pandemic in 2020 delayed the project, and construction didn’t start back up until  January.

The station will be located across from Mizner Park and adjacent to the Boca Raton Public Library.

Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer believes the Brightline station will be a boom to the city.  “It will allow our residents to be connected to a major transportation network,” Singer said. “[It] allows our businesses, cultural attractions and other entities to draw talent, visitors and employees from up and down the line.”

It is not clear what date exactly the station will be open, but it is predicted to start running sometime in December.
