Brightline has not be providing service to south Florida since March of 2020 due to the pandemic.
Brightline began service from Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach on January 13, 2018 and from Fort Lauderdale to Miami on May 19, 2018. Service from Miami to Orlando is expected to begin in 2022
But for now service is still suspended but, the rail company is actively constructing a new rail line to bring passengers from our Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach stops to Orlando with three additional stops along the South Florida Express line including stations in Aventura, Boca Raton and PortMiami.
For now, watch for closings at railroad crossings up and down the tracks east of I-95 for signal work and construction for Brightline.
