The 45th President of the United States found himself in a hotly contested vote only a few days after he announced his presidential bid for 2024, except this time it had nothing to do with the White House and everything to do with social media. Twitter’s new head man, Elon Musk, decided to respond to the calls of reinstating former President Trump to his newly purchased platform by creating a 24 hour poll and leaving it to the people to decide whether or not Trump would be allowed back on the site.

Well, 24 hours and over 15 million worldwide votes later, Trump won out and Elon tweeted out the big news.
The people have spoken.
Trump will be reinstated.

The Latin phrase, “Vox Populi, Vox Dei” roughly translates to “the voice of the people is the voice of God” just incase you were wondering.
Now that Trump has officially been reinstated to the site he once loved to use on a daily basis to connect with his over 80 million followers, the question is, will he come back? Or, will he decide to exclusively stick with his own social media creation of Truth Social? Time will tell, but we do know one thing for sure…things have certainly gotten very interesting! Trump’s account has already been reinstated and has almost gained 400k followers in its first hour back up.
His tweets read like a time capsule after being banned for nearly two years.
