If you can afford to rent an apartment in Broward County, now be aware that property managers have found another way to get more money out of renters and their guests.
Nottingham Pine Apartments not only hiked rents on tenants, now managers of the apartment complex located at the intersection of Pine Island Road and Broward Boulevard, are planning to charge tenants’ guests for parking, according to reports.
Axis at One Pine in Plantation is warning guests that they’ll soon have to pay up to ten dollars a day for parking.
One tenant told WPLG Local10 that the complex already raised her rent a thousand dollars, and there’s plenty of parking available. However, an attorney told the ABC affiliate that while this is unheard of, tenants probably can’t stop it.
