Two terminals of the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport were evacuated Saturday due to what is being called a security risk.
Broward County Sheriff’s Office deputies were notified of a bomb threat at approximately 8:49 a.m at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood international airport.
The bomb squad is currently at the scene investigating the threat and the public has been advised to avoid the airport until the threat is over.
The terminals that have been directly impacted by the threat are terminals 2 and 3. They have been evacuated as a precaution while the investigation is underway.
