(INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FL)–Authorities are investigating after they discovered a body with possible gunshot wounds after putting out a house fire.

The discovery was made in the 800 block of 27th Avenue around 2:00 a.m. Monday.

Officials say when they arrived at the scene, they found the house on fire and a body inside.

According to the report, authorities believe the deceased is the same person who called the police.

Investigators are reporting that there is no indication of foul play, however, they are still investigating the incident.
