Rockford, IL– Authorities in Rockford are searching for a body after a vehicle was stolen from outside of a funeral home.
The incident occurred on Jan. 21 outside of Collins & Stone Funeral Home.
Officials recovered the stolen vehicle on Sunday 90 miles away in Chicago, however, the body was no longer in the cargo area.
Rockford Police and the Chicago Police Department are working together on the case.
