Authorities in Pompano Beach are currently conducting a death investigation after a body was found near  I-95 near Sample Road.

According to the report, the body was discovered in the bushes off the expressway at around 9 a.m., Wednesday.

Officials have shut down he northbound ramp to Sample Road as they continue their investigation.
