West Palm Beach police are currently investigating after a man’s body was found in a dumpster over the weekend.

The discovery was made my a person taking out their trash on Sunday around 9:00 a.m.  in the 3200 block of Southridge Court.

Officials say the victim is a Hispanic man in his 40s who was said to be a resident of West Palm Beach.

Authorities say it is unclear how long the body was in the dumpster, however, they don’t believe that it was there for long.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the victim’s cause of death.
