(DELRAY BEACH, FLA) — Officials are responding to the scene of where a body was found in the road early Monday morning.
According to reports, the eastbound lanes of Atlantic Ave. near I-95 are closed after a man’s body was found in the road.
Delray Beach police say the man’s body was found near the I-95 ramp.
“Very unusual for something like this to happen. What we can tell you right now if they don’t know how he died. So, the medical examiner will take custody of the person, take them to the medical examiner’s office, perform an autopsy and determine how he died,” said Ted White from Delray Beach police.
The investigation is ongoing.
