South Florida is doing it’s best to help the people of Ukraine during their time of need, WPTV reports.
Boca Helps Ukraine is an organization that, for the past few months, has been sending supplies to the people suffering during the ongoing war.
$40,000 worth of medical supplies are being sent, along with canned goods, diapers and non-perishable items.
Mariya Kemper Reiss, a Ukrainian born South Florida resident and volunteer of Boca Helps Ukraine, said that she felt it was her duty to send hope and help overseas.
Today, 05/22/22, is the last day to send any supplies that can be spared. Items can be dropped off at Park Place Shopping Mall located at 5560 N. Military Trail, Bay 322 (formerly Salon Bardot), Boca Raton, FL 33496 until 7 p.m.
