Boat overturns near Florida Keys, 2 dead and 10 missing

The U.S. Coast Guard responded to the location several miles off Key West at around 1 p.m.

Two people are dead and ten others are missing after the boat overturned near Florida Keys Thursday.

According to the Coast Guard officials the crews rescued eight people and pulled two bodied from the water.

Several small boats and two Coast Guard cutters are searching for the missing passengers.

Petty Officer Jose Hernandez said there are no immediate sign of the overturned boat.

According to the Coast Guard, officials did not immediately know what type of boat the people were traveling in.

It’s also a true mystery on where they had come from.
