GULF STREAM, FLA- A Florida registered boat carrying 10 illegal migrants washed up behind the El Cortijo Condominiums on North Ocean Blvd. at around 3 a.m. Thursday morning.
Eight of the migrants were turned over to the U.S. Border Patrol but two are still missing and are being sought by authorities.
Border Patrol says the trip originated in the Bahamas and the passengers were from several different countries including Haiti, Brazil and the Dominican Republic.
In June, a dozen Haitian migrants were detained after coming ashore in Palm Beach and 23 were detained in Jupiter late last year.
This is a developing story.
