American rock band Blink-182 will kick off an American reunion tour in 2023, and Tom DeLonge, Travis Barker, and Mark Hoppus will return to the stage. The band has an album in the works and will debut a new song, “Edging,” set to release Friday, the first track the trio produced in nearly a decade.
The tour will kick off March 2024 through February 2024.
Blink-182 got their start composing music in San Diego, and after hitting big, have sold more than 50 million albums internationally.
Many express concern for band member Travis Barker, who endured a plane crash in 2008 and underwent extensive medical treatment for burns that covered 65% of his body.
Barker was recently hospitalized for ‘life-threatening pancreatitis.’
“During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube,” the singer said in a statement. “This resulted in severe, life-threatening pancreatitis.”
The drummer avoided flying ever since the accident, but showed progression when he flew for the first time in 13 years with current wife Kourtney Kardashian.
