It was a shocking moment for all who were watching the Bills vs Bengals Monday Night Football game as we saw Damar Hamlin fall motionless after a hit to the chest as he tackled Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins. The moments that followed were extremely tense and very emotional as the Bengals stadium fell silent and Bills players were seeing weeping on the sidelines.
One of the freaky things about the Damar Hamlin hit is that it looked so routine. Blow to the upper chest. Slight glance off the helmet. Then he stands up and completely collapses. Disturbing stuff. #PrayersforHamlin 🙏 pic.twitter.com/YhO09uPpZO

CPR and an AED were both administered to Hamlin on the field as his heart had stopped. These and other life saving techniques were given to Hamlin for over 20 minutes before being taken off the field in an ambulance and to a local Cincinnati trauma center. News has come out in recent minutes following this seemingly unprecedented event that has stunned the NFL world and casual on lookers alike.

As far as the game is concerned, which is secondary at this point, it was postponed with a make up date yet to be determined.
Our prayers join many others for Damar’s quick recovery and safety.
