83 year old comedian Bill Cosby has been released from a Pennsylvania prison after his 2018 conviction was overturned by the state’s supreme court Wednesday.

Cosby was convicted of raping Andrea Constand at his home in 2004 however his lawyers maintain he did not receive a fair trial after a judge allowed the testimony of additional accusers at his retrial.

The high court said the additional testimony tainted the trial and influenced outcome.

Bill Cosby had served 3 years of a ten year sentence in a Pennsylvania prison and has offered no remorse over the incident.

Prosecutors have not indicated whether they would seek a third trial for the 83 year old who was denied parole earlier this year.

This is a developing story.
