President Joe Biden tripped and fell three times on the stairs of Air Force One before flying to Atlanta, Georgia today.
The 78-year-old tripped and stumbled as he attempted to run up the steps, à la Obama, boarding Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews. He appears to be uninjured.
I know folks have seen that President Biden slipped on his way up the stairs to AF1, but I’m happy to report that he is just fine and did not even require any attention from the medical team who travels with him. Nothing more than a misstep on the stairs.

Despite falling to his knees, Biden quickly recovered, brushed off his pants and eventually made it to the top of the stairs, giving a salute before entering the aircraft.
From one camera angle, Biden’s entire torso went out of view when he stumbled the second time, though his hand can be seen still holding onto the railing of the jet stairs. Biden then got up and made it the rest of the way up the jet stairs.
“Out of an abundance of caution, he will be examined this afternoon by an orthopedist.”
Biden wore a boot after he fractured his foot in December while chasing his dog.
President Biden is not the first leader of the free world to take a tumble on the steps of Air Force One. Former President Gerald Ford fell down the stairs in the rain.
Airplane stair falls, are a #GOP VP thing…
& Yes people I know … Ford is President not VP during 'this' fall but Chevy Chase didn't build his career on SNL on Gerald Ford's falls up & down airplane steps by waiting until Ford was President, it started long before this fall. pic.twitter.com/LYnWRQYA00
