Three firefighters are thankfully uninjured after a bathtub fell on top of them while they were putting out a house fire.

The incident occurred just before 3 a.m. on Monday near Northwest 83rd Street and Fifth Court.

According to reports, the firefighters were in the middle of battling the blaze when a cast iron bathtub fell from the second story of the home and trapped them beneath it.  Several other firefighters managed to free their colleagues and continued to battle the blaze.

After three hours, authorities were able to get the blaze under control.

No one was injured.
