Officials in Miami are currently searching for a suspect and his girlfriend after another man was fatally shot at an apartment complex.

Miami-Dade police identified the suspect as 19-year-old Joshua Ismael Campos, the girlfriend as 19-year-old Maxine McCord, and the victim as 27-year-old Demetrius Harris.

According to the report, the victim was seen arguing with McCord and her family in the courtyard of the Hidden Grove Apartments just before 5:30 p.m. on July 25.  At some point during the argument, McCord’s boyfriend Campos, came out and shot Harris before fleeing the scene.

Police arrived at the scene after receiving an alert from ShotSpotter and arrived to the scene to find Harris suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was rushed an area hospital where he later died of his injuries.

Authorities say both Campos and McCord, who is wanted for questioning, are missing and that the couple left their one-year-old with family member.

It is unclear, however, if McCord is being held against her will.
