SAN ANTONIO, TX– Authorities in Texas have arrested the parents of a 13-year-old who was reported missing after finding that the teen had been sexually abused for years.
39-year-old Christopher Thomley and 32-year-old Ashley Thomley were taken into custody on Wednesday after the teen was located and detailed the abuse.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office reported that during the search for the missing teen, an Amazon driver called them to report a young girl walking across the street by herself.
Authorities say while the girl is a teen, she appears to be much younger.
Officials located the girl who was scared and angry.
The teen then told authorities that she was homeschooled and that she was forced to endure years of sexual abuse by her parents.
After seizing the couple’s camera and computer equipment authorities found a video of the couple spiking their daughter’s milkshake so that they could sexually abuse her:
“During this video that we saw, Christopher actually commented, ‘well shoot, we forgot the oxycodone.’ so that tells me that not only was this half a bottle of cough suppressant on this tiny little body enough for these depraved maniacs, they were lamenting the fact that they forgot the other prescription medication that they were going to give her as part of this cocktail,” said Sheriff Javier Salazar.
Christopher is facing charges of “continuous” sexual abuse of a child charges, while Ashley is facing child endangerment charges.
