The Miami-Dade Police department has confirmed that a meth lab was discovered inside of until at the Majestic Towers in Bal Harbour on Monday.

The development located on 9601 Collins Ave was evacuated around 4:00 p.m. after employees went inside of a unit and made a concerning discovery.

According to the report, a resident was recently evicted from the unit and staff members went inside to check out the area.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue told reporters on Monday that they were responding to a hazmat situation that may involve chemicals.

Several floors of the building were evacuated and kept clear for hours.

On Tuesday, police confirmed that a Meth lab was discovered.
