BOCA RATON, FL– Authorities are currently searching for more than a dozen suspected immigrants who came ashore in Boca Raton early Thursday.
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported that the party arrived around 7 a.m. near the Waterstone Resort, located in the 900 block of East Camino Real.
Hotel staff reported seeing the unknown persons flee the area in various directions.
At least three of the migrants have been detained and are being questioned.
Officials are, however, are still searching for 15 to 20 migrants.
It is unclear where the group originated from.
