Love him or hate him, today is President Donald Trump’s last full day in office.  Some supporters suggest lowering flags to half staff with Trump’s departure, others hope his post-presidency is riddled with financial ruin, ostracization and incarceration.

Trump schedule

We can expect a flurry of pardons by out-going President Trump today including pardons and commutations for white collar criminals, high-profile rappers and a jailed Florida eye doctor…and possibly Julian Assange.

Tomorrow, officials are planning a farewell ceremony for the outgoing president at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland before he heads to Florida aboard Air Force One.

Invitations for the event, scheduled for 8 a.m. on Wednesday, have been sent to supporters of Trump as well as former administration officials, Bloomberg News reported.

Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Jacobs wrote on Twitter that guests must arrive between 6 a.m. and 7.15 a.m. for the event and are permitted to bring up to five other people with them. The invites also say all attendees must wear masks, according to Jacobs.

Trump will not be attended Joe Biden’s inauguration, which is traditional for most out-going presidents.  Instead, he will be at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida when Biden is sworn in as the nation’s 46th president at 12 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

Trump announced his decision not to attend Biden’s inauguration on Twitter, days after the deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. The social media platform, along with other major sites including Facebook, has since banned Trump.

Some are happy that Trump is now “running silent” others are concerned because now the nation doesn’t know what he is thinking.

Despite being silenced, Trump remains the main target of the left-leaning media who continue to prominently feature him in their news cycle.
