Amber Heard told NBC’s Savannah Guthrie that she stands by “every word” of her testimony in the defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp.
In an exclusive interview on NBC’s Today show, Heard tells Guthrie she “doesn’t blame the jury” but she won’t back down from her testimony that Depp physically and psychologically abused her.
Depp sued Heard for $50-million after she described herself in a Washington Post op-ed as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.”
She countersued for $100-million dollars and got $2 million from Depp’s attorney.
Depp was awarded $10.4 million dollars after the jury found for the plaintiff.
The Amber Heard interview will be played in its entirety this Friday on Dateline.
