(MIAMI BEACH, FL)– A 24-year-old man has been arrested after he allegedly stalked and attacked an Amazon driver with a knife.
The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon near 15th Street and Michigan Avenue.
The victim told police that he was delivering packages when he was warned by a woman that there appeared to be a man on a bicycle following him.
Despite the woman’s warning, the driver continued working in the area anyway.
After following the Amazon driver through the area, the suspect went after the driver with a knife. The driver threw his cellphone battery at the suspect and pushed him before fleeing the scene.
Thankfully, authorities were already on their way, as the witness contacted them just after warning the victim.
The witness told authorities that she noticed a man lurking in the bushes when he saw the Amazon truck. He then got on a bicycle and began following the Amazon truck in a suspicious manner.
Authorities were eventually able to identify the suspect as Harrison Williams-Wood.
He was arrested and faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest without violence.
