Eight people died Friday night and hundreds of others were injured during the opening night of the popular weekend music festival, Astroworld, at NRG Park in Houston according to authorities.

Astroworld consists of multiple acts and it is estimated that 50,000 patrons were in attendance last night.

According to reports, the incident took place during the performance of rapper Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner’s baby daddy, when the crowd of thousands started pushing toward the front of the stage which seemingly caused a stampede of sorts resulting in the injuries and deaths.

As of now, the remainder of the weekend festival has been cancelled.
