MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL– Miami-Dade police have arrested a 75-year-old man who reportedly sexually abused a 9-year-old for a number of years.

The victim told investigators that the abuse began when she was five years old.
According to the report, the child was playing with her mother’s phone in a bedroom when Suarez came in and fondled her over her clothing while she lay on the bed.
Over the years Suarez became increasingly bolder and began touching the child underneath her clothing while kissing her face and neck.
The child reported that when she would attempt to say “no,” Suarez would cover her mouth and would prevent her from moving if she tried to get away.
After learning of the investigation, Suarez turned himself into the police at Miami-Dade County’s Special Victim’s Bureau.
He has since been to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center where he is facing charges of child molestation and sexual assault on a minor.
