(PORT ST. LUCIE, FL)– Port St. Lucie police have arrested a 70-year-old woman who, along with another woman, reportedly stole two TVs from a Walmart.
The incident was said to have occurred at the store on SW Gatlin Boulevard on Aug. 23rd.
Officials say Alberta Clem of Flagler Beach and 36-year-old Toya Singletary of Fort Pierce walked into the store and grabbed a 43-inch Philips TV from the shelf and a 50-inch LG television.
According to the report, the woman who grabbed the Philips TV went to customer service to try and return it.
While at customer service, the other woman met up with her.
They both then decided to walk out of the store with the TVs in the baskets.
Once outside, the women loaded the TVs into their vehicle and left the scene.
Officials later caught up with Clem and charged her with felony retail theft charges.
Authorities have not located Singletary as of yet but there is a warrant out for her arrest.
