A 14-year-old  has been arrested after a missing 6-year-old Indiana girl was discovered dead Friday.

The discovery was made around 6:30 pm in a wooded area near an apartment complex in New Carlisle.

According to the report, the child’s body was discovered two hours after she was reported missing.

Authorities are currently not releasing any more details surrounding the case, however, they did report that the homicide unit is involved.

An autopsy for the child’s body is scheduled for Sunday.
