6-year-old “accidentally” pushed out of 3-story window by relative

Police in Chicago are reporting that a 6-year-old is recovering from a broken ankle after he was “accidentally” pushed out of the third-story window of a home by a relative.
The incident was reported, on Thursday in the 1200 block of South Kildare Avenue on the West Side.
Authorities say they were called to the home around 11:00 p.m. to provide care to an injured child.
While many details surrounding the case are currently unavailable, it was said that the child fell approximately 30 feet to the ground.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he had been listed in good condition.
Officials first categorized the incident under “battery,” but later labeled it a “noncriminal — accidental injury.”
Investigators say they are still looking into the case.
