VERO BEACH, FL– Officials are searching for a mother who went missing Tuesday morning after leaving the Cleveland Clinic Wellness Center.
47-year-old Kathryn Wittkoetter was last seen around 8:13 a.m. walking out of the center.
Authorities say she made a phone call to her mother sometime in the afternoon asking her to pick up her son from camp because she needed to run an errand for a new job.
Wittkoetter, however, never returned home.
According to investigators, despite Wittkoetter walking outside of the wellness center, her vehicle was found in the parking lot.
Family members believe that she might have met up with her ex-boyfriend from out of town.
Wittkoetter is described as 5 feet 4 inches and weighs 170 pounds.
She has blue eyes and dirty-blonde hair.
