3 trapped in 10-foot hole after construction accident

Firefighters in Juno Beach have rescued three men who became stuck in a 10-foot hole after some sort of construction accident.

The incident began around 9:30 a.m. Thursday at 700 block of Ocean Royale Way.

Not much is known about the incident at this time, however, authorities did tell our news partners at WPTV that they had to perform what is known as a “trench rescue,” in order to get the workers out of the hole.

According to the report, a trench rescue requires additional equipment and training.

Two of the men where taken to an area hospital for treatment.

It was not said what type of construction project the men were working on or how type of construction accident occurred.
