Three infants were treated in an area hospital after they were fed THC crackers.

The incident occurred at a home daycare in Standford, Virginia earlier this week.

Officials with the Stafford County Sheriff’s department say that the families involved noticed their children exhibiting lethargic behavior accompanied with bloodshot eyes.

They then immediately sought medical attention.

Hospital staff ran tests on the 1-year-olds and found that each of them had been exposed to tetrahydrocannabinol, the main psychoactive compound in cannabis.

Investigators then went to the home daycare and collected samples of the snacks that were in and around the high chairs.

According to the report, the Goldfish snacks tested positive for THC.

The day care owner has since turned herself in.
