A man and two women are dead after a domestic situation turned fatal inside a Miami home.

The incident was reported on Sunday at a home in the area of Southwest 191th Terrace and 129th Avenue.

Miami-Dade Police say a domestic dispute escaladed within the home just before 5 p.m. At some point during the dispute, the suspect barricaded himself inside of the home and opened fire.

“The officers who were on the scene attempting to make contact with this individual were unable to do so,” said Miami-Dade Police spokesperson Angel Rodriguez, ” and the Miami-Dade Police Department’s Special Response Team made entry into the residence, and upon doing so, discovered a deceased adult male and two deceased adult females.”

Authorities say two children and the suspect’s father were also in the home during the shooting. The father was said to have been injured during the shooting and transported to an area hospital in stable condition. The children where not injured.
