PORT ST. LUCIE, FL– A 24-year-old woman is facing charges after she backed her vehicle into an officer’s patrol car after she was stopped for reckless driving.
The incident occurred Thursday morning near Southwest Gatlin Boulevard.
The officer reported that they conducted a traffic stop on a white Kia after they noticed the driver swerving and taking up two lanes.
Once the officer initiated the traffic stop, the driver now identified as Raven Butts, also struck a curb before coming to a stop.
As the police officer got out of his vehicle, Butts reportedly backed her vehicle into his cruiser.
She has been charged with a DUI and damaging property.
