Several students were injured in a school bus accident in Ocala, Florida.

The incident occurred on Wednesday as the students were said to have been exiting the bus.

According to the report, the bus was stopped with its lights activated when a tractor-trailer slammed into the back of the bus.

Five students were taken to an area hospital. Two are said to be in critical condition.

Authorities say there were 10 students on the bus at the time.

The driver has only been identified as 34-year-old.

It is unclear why the vehicle did not stop.
