Two people die Tuesday in a small plane crash in northeast Florida.
The National Transportation Safety Board said it was sending an investigator on Wednesday to examine the crash of Cessna 152 near St. Augustine, Florida.
The plane crashed as it was attempting to land, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
When the crews from St. John County Fire and Rescue and St. Augustine Fire Department arrived on the scene, the plane was fully engulfed in a fire.
The plane belonged to Florida Flyers Flight Academy, according to aviation sources.
