
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL– Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews are reporting that two children and one adult were taken to a hospital following a crash involving a school bus.
The crash occurred on the Dolphin Expressway near Northwest 107th Avenue Thursday afternoon.
Officials say a silver Lexus SUV and black Nissan SUV were involved in a collision which caused the Nissan to become stuck in the roadway.
A school bus traveling in the same lane the Nissan became stuck in was unable to stop, and crashed into the vehicle.
Authorities say 50 children were on the bus at the time of the crash but none of them were injured.
The driver of the Lexus was transported to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital with minor injuries.
Two children were also transported to a hospital, however, it was not said which vehicle the children were originally in.
