Officials in Polk County have arrested two people and are currently searching for one other after the suspects reportedly ran over a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation officer during a confrontation.

The incident was reported on Saturday night at the Avon Park Bombing Range.

Officials say the officer noticed three people shinning a spotlight into the park and when the officer approached the individuals, a scuffle ensued. The suspects were then said to have run over the officer with an ATV and fled the area.

The officer was taken to an area hospital where they were treated for their injuries and released.

Officials where able to locate two of the suspects, however, they are reporting that they are still searching for a third.
