
Two suspects have been arrested after they allegedly burglarized two restaurants in Lake Worth Beach.
The incident was reported on Sunday in the 4000 block of S. State Road 7.
According to authorities, the two suspects 30-year-old William J. Manoush and 26-year-old Joshua Santiago targeted both the Gandhi’s Authentic Indian Cuisine and the TaOne Asian Fusion restaurants by smashing in the front window and stealing cash from the registers and gift cards.
Then men where then said to have fled the area.
With the help of the Broward County Sheriffs office, authorities with the Palm Beach Sheriffs Offices were able to locate the suspects and the vehicle a short time later.
When authorities moved in on the suspects, both suspect fled the vehicle. Authorities eventually caught up with both men and took them into custody.
Both men admitted to fleeing from the vehicle, but denied any involvement in the burglaries. Authorities, however, found both men in possession of several Gandhi’s gift cards, miscellaneous credit cards, and $293 in cash.
They have since been arrested and charged with Burglary, Criminal Mischief and Petit Theft.
